Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited.
Contest Period
The contest begins September 2, 2026 at 5:57 pm GMT+0000 and ends September 7, 2026 at 3:59 am GMT+0000. All times use +00:00.
How to Enter
Visit the contest page, begin a sixty-minute expedition, and correctly complete the Horus, Sobek, and Osiris waterskin trials before submitting a verified entry. Each trial allows three server-validation attempts. A failed or expired expedition may be restarted. No purchase or paid subscription is required. Limit one entry per person and email address.
Winner Determination
The first eligible entrant, based on the server-recorded completion timestamp and then the entry record number if timestamps are identical, to submit a complete and correct solution will be the potential winner. The Sponsor will verify eligibility and compliance with these rules. If the potential winner cannot be verified or does not respond within 72 hours, the next eligible correct entrant may be selected.
Prize
One year of complimentary paid membership to The Book of Ruined Saints. Approximate retail value: $50.00 USD. An existing paid subscriber will receive an equivalent extension where supported. No cash alternative; prize is nontransferable except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
Privacy
Entry information is collected only to administer the contest, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner, and maintain contest records. Entering does not subscribe an entrant to marketing email.
General Conditions
Automated entries, tampering, reverse engineering, multiple identities, and attempts to interfere with the site or other entrants are prohibited. The Sponsor may disqualify entries that violate these rules and may suspend or modify the contest if technical failure or misconduct compromises its integrity. Void where prohibited by law.
